What is Astrology?

Astrology is the practice of tracking correspondences between the Heavens and the Earth. Knowledge of these correspondences can be used to gain insight into our lives, take action at auspicious moments, and generally align ourselves more harmoniously with the ever recurring and evolving cycles of life on Earth.

Why Earth centered?

The truth is I am self centered, and so are you. That is good for us, and important. Still, acknowledging Earth as the center of our living world is vital, not just existentially, but also to properly orient the practice of astrology. We track the alignments of the Planets and other celestial events from our perspective on Earth, and we apply those observations to our life on Earth; that is the practice of astrology in itʻs rightful place: on Earth. When we look out to observe patterns in the alignments of the Moon, Sun, planets, and stars, it does not remove us from the Earth. In fact, as we look out, it deepens our relationship into our native planet. From nowhere else in the galaxy do the Planets look and move the way they do here on Earth. The alignments we witness are only relevant and true from our perspective here on Earth, which means they are true for us. As above, so below; and by looking out we may see within.
